Malala Yousafzai fights for every girl’s right to education and a life of freedom, in Pakistan and all over the world.

For her tireless and dangerous struggle, Malala was elected WCP Decade Child Rights Hero in 2022. She received the World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child in 2014. Later that year, Malala was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Learn about Malala’s life story here, and find out about her work for change here.
