Prize Laureates visit schools in Sweden today!

WCP Prize Delegations are visiting schools in Sweden today. Here is Prize Laureate James Kofi Annan with a fan at Österåkersbygdens friskola in Vingåker! — in Vingåker, Södermanlands Län. With him on the school visit is Kwesi, a former fishing slave saved by James. Here he is playing soccer with new friends who have read his story before he came, in the World’s Children’s Prize Magazine, the Globe. They are all excited to meet Kwesi IRL!
After being liberated from the slave owner Kwesi stayed at James’ safe house for almost a year, until he was healthy and his self-esteem restored. He still has scars on his body and a bump on his lip from when the slave owner split it with the paddle. But he's stronger and happier and back home with his mother. He goes to school and his favourite subject is maths. When he grow up he wants to be a bank manager.
