The World’s Children’s Prize (WCP) Program is educating and empowering children so that they as Child Rights Ambassadors can be changemakers, promoting the Rights of the Child, including girls’ equal rights, democracy and sustainable development to their families and local communities. Patrons of the World’s Children’s Prize include H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, Malala Yousafzai, the late Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, Graça Machel, Xanana Gusmão, Desmond Tutu –  Swedish Prime Ministers and Ministers of Children. Since the year 2000, close to 50 million children have participated in the annual WCP Program.
