Children hold up signs protesting child marriage and climate change
How are the world’s children?

Almost every country in the world has ratified (pledged to follow) the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This means that they must respect the rights of each and every child, and listen to what children have to say. Find facts and numbers about how children are treated around the world, in countries where the World’s Children’s Prize is active, and where WCP Child Rights Heroes and WCP Child Rights Ambassadors fight as changemakers for child-friendly local communities and countries.
