You and your school decide when and for how long you want to work with the WCP program, as long as everyone has sufficient time and opportunity to learn and be empowered during the program cycle. This is how you do it, step by step (click on the steps to learn more):
Study the rights of the child as they are stated in the UN Convention for the Rights of the Child. Are these rights respected where you live, in your country, and in the world? Do girls and boys have equal rights and opportunities? Is there anything you’d like to change? What obligations are attached to the rights? | Learn more about

Study the Global Goals and how the world can achieve them by 2030 to reduce extreme poverty, fight injustice and stop climate change. Also, learn how the goals are connected to the Rights of the Child. | More about

Meet the Child Rights Heroes who are candidates for the World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child. Their stories provide inspiration and learnings on child rights and the Global Goals in real life. | Learn more about

Study the history of democracy and fundamental democratic principles, and how election campaigns work. Then organize your own Democratic election and Global Vote Day with ballot boxes, and election officiators where children vote for their favourite from among the Child Rights Heroes. | Learn more about

The Round the Globe Run for a Better World is organized annually. Based on the knowledge gained in the WCP Program, children around the globe present their demands for change, form a human chain, and then walk or run 3 km for a better local community, country, and world. |

Children around the world celebrate No Litter Day and demonstrate that they belong to the No Litter Generation by collecting litter and sharing knowledge about the environment and the need to stop climate change.
