The WCP Ceremony put on hold

On 29 April the World’s Children’s Prize Ceremony was meant to be held. However, due to the COVID- 19 and the viral spread of the Corona virus, the Ceremony is currently canceled. You can also watch it after the actual events take place.

The WCP follows the development closely, and will update this page with new dates and more information. In additon, the final date for reporting your votes in the Global Vote has been pushed forward to 16 April, 2021. Right now, we recommend everyone to follow the directives of local authorities and the WHO. Stay safe!

Organize local celebrations!

Some schools organize their own ceremony as part of a WCP day or evening event to celebrate the Child Rights Heroes and the rights of the child. Family and friends, local officials, politicians, journalists and other adults can be invited. It makes for a festive day or evening for the rights of the child, with a host to lead the proceedings, and speeches and performances.
