Malala Yousafzai fights for girls’ right to education and a life of freedom, in Pakistan and around the world.

The Taliban tried to murder Malala and silence her. Instead, her voice grew even stronger. She received the 2014 World’s Children’s Prize for her courageous and dangerous fight for girls’ right to education. Later in 2014, Malala was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
